Sounded.com has a zero tolerance of copyright infringement. We do not permit the use of our services for any content which infringes copyright. The use of copyrighted content without the required permission from the rights holder may be a breach of Sounded.com policies.

This copyright infringement policy is intended to highlight how to notify Sounded.com of any alleged infringement of intellectual property rights regarding content on the Sounded.com platform. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, you should complete the form and submit it to us.

Failure to include all of the information requested in our online Copyright Infringement Form may limit or delay our ability to investigate your claims and may result in the complaint being denied.

Before proceeding to submit a Copyright Infringement Form, please be mindful intentionally submitting a false or misleading or fraudulent claim is considered a criminal offence in some jurisdictions and you may be liable for damages as a result.

If you are not the owner of intellectual property rights listed in the copyright infringement notice (or an agent acting on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property rights), we will not be able to process your enquiry.

For correctly completed submitted forms, we will respond as soon as practicable to concerns from rights owners about alleged infringement of copyright. We may also contact you if we have additional queries regarding your copyright infringement notification.

Kindly note, Sounded.com is not in a position to adjudicate disputes between third parties and we may not be able to remove content or suspend any account which you report to us.

Sounded.com does not process any claims for infringement of audio content. All narrators used on Sounded.com are generated using Sounded.com or its licensors technology.

If you would like to submit a copyright infringement claim in writing, you should download our Copyright Infringement Form here and submit it by email to support@sounded.com or you can can write to:

Legal Department, Sounded.com, Second Floor, 18-20 North Quay, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 4LE.

Written claim should contain information setting out clearly:

• A description of the work on Sounded.com which you claim has been infringed;

• An explanation as to why you consider you own the relevant copyright in the work which you claim has been infringed;

• Screen shots of the work on Sounded.com which you claim has been infringed;

• The relevant url directing to the work on Souned.com which you claim has been infringed;

• Confirmation of your full name;

• Confirmation of your residential address (or if a corporate entity, your registered office, company number, and names of your directors);

• Confirmation of your contact details, including email address and telephone number

• A statement confirming the information you provided to Sounded.com is true and accurate and that you are the owner of the copyright in the work claimed has been infringed (or you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner (if a corporate entity or their agent).

• Any other relevant information which you deem necessary which will assist us when reviewing your correspondence.

Removal of Content

Where a copyright notice has been correctly submitted and in the opinion of sounded.com there has clearly been an infringement of the work claimed, the user account associated with the infringing work will be suspended and the copyright work will be removed from the sounded.com platform. Any royalty payments related to the copyright work infringed will be forfeited as a result of a breach of our Terms of Use.
